Today we wanted to introduce you to a unique instrument. This is the Tohok snare drum from the Tonos collection with a copper shell, all made for Drum Supply. Visually, it is 'slightly' upgraded compared to its predecessors, as the powder-coated hoops have been replaced by fire-treated stainless steel Tohoop hoops.

What we really want to highlight about Tonos snare drums is the very specific method of making the shells.

In this case, we do not use any rollers, winders, etc. The shells are shaped entirely by hand with hammers from start to finish. The work is crowned by Tonedge edges. 

This is one of those rare snare drums that sounds beautiful immediately, without even precise tuning... It is deep, warm, varied, and 'organic.'
