Brush Workshop

Ticket Cost = TWO, 2-hour classes!

All skill levels welcomed.

Why learn brushes? Playing with brushes is a totally unique style of drumming. It is completely different from playing with sticks.

Uncover the secrets to brush playing, and broaden your drumming skills.

Covering styles including Swing, Country, Brazilian, & Creative techniques.

A two week, two session workshop focusing on the fundamentals as well as advanced brush methods. Great for those new to brushes, those that want to tighten up the basics, and those who want to bring their brush playing to the next level. 

All drum gear will provided for use during the classes. Just bring your preferred brushes. (Available for purchase on site.)

Structured as a small, very hands on group class of only 4-8 drummers. VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY. Sign up for your spot today!

About the Teacher

Jordan Perlson

The career of drummer, percussionist and educator Jordan Perlson spans wide stylisticly. From jazz, fusion, reggae, to work with cutting edge music innovators like Snarky Puppy, to performing with progressive music giants such as Adrian Belew, Jordan has become a known force in many musical circles.  Having taught at prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music, New York University and masterclasses all over the world, Jordan is a passionate educator.

Jordan studied privately with numerous teachers throughout his childhood in the suburbs of Philadelphia. But it was not until he began studying with famed drummer Joe Morello, at the age of 17, did he really begin to develop his technique and sound.

On scholarship, Jordan attended Berklee College of Music where he graduated with a dual degree in Performance and Music Business.
